We had to wait 45 minutes after check in to get into my room because it wasn't ready. The carpet needed to be cleaned a long time ago. It was a comfy room for the price. With the exception of the bathroom floor was dirty. It was quiet though. The hot tubs were big and nice and hot. The views from the pool/ hotub area were beautiful. We will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed two nights here. Clean rooms, plenty of towels, we brought some just incase from previous reviews. The pool was also open while we were here 2/16-18th. Friendly staff, we had great parking up front, restaurant inside had good food, our room stayed plenty warm too. We would stay again.

The location is awesome and the city bus stops 5 steps from the front door. The building is a bit tired but very functional and we had no issues. We had a room with a mountain view, I would not recommend it. The hotel is on a busy highway and the freight train goes by all night long. The noise is worse on the NW corner of the building. The pool is nice and has a gorgeous view. The hot tubs are OK? They had green water inside and the jets did not come on. Both of them had stuff in the bottom and the deck around looked home grown. Next time I would stay in the back of the place, away from the snowmobiling highway. I did like the staff and house keeping was on point. The location is awesome and by the time we left we had transportation figured out. Parking is easy and they had plenty of it. Pro tip in town is a rec center for $15 you can hot tub, lap swim, rock climbing and it is on the bus line.

We stayed at the lodge a few days ago, we really enjoyed our stay, it's really close to the resort. Even when the place seems a little outdated, we had clean towels, hot water, and a nice warm bed. The staff was super friendly! Pedro, was an amazing host! He took care of every need. They only thing about the lodge that we didn't like is that you don't have a vending machine and the store you have at the front desk has a limited amount of items. We'll definitely come back :)

As other reviews mention, this place is definitely dated and you can tell it cuts corners to save a few bucks. My biggest complaint is that they didn’t shovel/salt the walkways and stairs into the building from the parking lots, creating a safety concern and making it difficult when carrying in bags/ski gear. Other small things definitely add up too (only 2 pillows on the bed, thin sheet/blanket, trash bags throughout the hallway from housekeeping when we arrived). We didn’t use the pool or hot tub as the chemical smell upon walking into the room was honestly overwhelming. That being said, the location is great and everything was functional in the room, so it got the job done. We booked day-of and paid $180 after tax for a Saturday night during ski season, so you get what you pay for, but would’ve been disappointed if we spent more.

Despite some negative reviews about towels, we had no issues there—plenty of towels and a clean room overall. The mattress was comfy, though I’d recommend bringing your own pillow for a better sleep. The location was great, but the mornings were a bit rough. Around 6:30 AM, snowmobiles started up, which made for a loud wake-up call. The heater in the room was also really noisy, making it hard to sleep in. The hot tubs were disappointing—lukewarm at best, not the relaxing soak you’d hope for. Overall, it's a solid place for a short stay—maybe one or two nights—but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than that.

This is a decent hotel. Location is great! It’s the cheapest hotel in the area but still over priced for how outdated the hotel is. The pool was freezing and the hot tubs looked like there was green scale on the fiberglass. This hotel is not worth $200 a night, more so $150 or less a night. Hotel staff was very nice. Based on the previous reviews with there being no towels we stopped at Walmart and bought towels. Ignore the previous reviews our room was fully stocked with soaps and towels. The view from the room was beautiful though.

My family has been staying at the Winter Park Mountain Lodge for years. The staff is friendly and you can’t beat the location - great views of the ski resort and a hassle-free shuttle ride to the gondola. This year we had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant and had a perfect view of the holiday drone show from the patio! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool, kids game room and pool table. Just above the lobby is one of our favorite places to hang out and play cards or read a book after a day of skiing - it’s a cozy area decorated in vintage ski decor. The rooms are outdated, but we were pleased to see the beds and bedding were new this year. It would be great to see other updates, as long as it doesn’t lose its charm.
